Gatekeepers News reports that on a cool evening with gentle rain, the Coalition gathered at the Tennis Court of Auchi Polytechnic for a memorable meeting with the esteemed members of Afemai Recreation Club.
Founded about 25 years ago as a tennis club, it has evolved into the premier recreation club in Afemai land. The recreation club, which is registered with the corporate affairs commission, attracts community leaders, business executives, government officials, industry captains, and professionals seeking fitness, relaxation, and networking opportunities.
The evening presented a unique opportunity for the Coalition to share Dr. Asue Ighodalo’s vision for a greater Edo with this influential group ahead of the September 21st Edo Governorship Elections. They highlighted various community projects and empowerment initiatives being executed across Edo North by Dr. Ighodalo, demonstrating his dedication to the region’s development.
The apolitical Club warmly received the Coalition and expressed their desire for Dr. Ighodalo to visit. Some members speaking during the engagement commended the sincerity of the message delivered and hoped that the candidate would demonstrate such sincerity in governance.
The Club discussed their ongoing efforts to build a permanent recreation facility, a project that will promote not just recreation but hospitality and economic growth.
They requested the Coalition’s support to make this ambitious project a reality.
