Corps Marshal Redeploys Five Senior Officers

Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Muhammed, has approved the redeployment of five (5) senior officers to new responsibilities immediately.

Gatekeeper’s News reports that the five redeployed senior officers consist of three Assistant Corps Marshals, one Corps Commander, and one Deputy Corps Commander.

The development was announced through a statement released by the Corps Public Education Officer, Olusegun Ogungbemide.

According to the statement, Assistant Corps Marshal Jonas Agwu, the erstwhile Public Education Officer, is now redeployed to head the Administration and Human Resources Department at the national headquarters.

Also, Assistant Corps Marshal Chidi B. Nkwonta, former Commandant, FRSC Command and Staff College UDI, Enugu State, takes over duty as the Principal Staff Officer to the Corps Marshal from Assistant Corps Marshal Hafeez Muhammed, who has been redeployed as Zonal Commanding Officer Zone 7.

The corps marshal also assented to the redeployment of Corps Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide, Command Administration and Strategy in the Operations Department at the national headquarters as the new Public Education Officer.

Additionally, Deputy Corps Commander Wasiu Adenekan has been appointed as the Technical Advisor to the corps marshal and head of the Corps Information Technology Office.

The corps marshal urged the redeployed officers to remain steadfast in their commitment and dedication to duties and to share in the FRSC’s vision of ensuring safer roads for all motorists.
