Isah Shaibu has been diagnosed with kidney failure and urgently needs our collective support to undergo an immediate transplant for his survival.
Gatekeepers News reports that Shaibu, 35, is currently managed for end-stage kidney at Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital in Edo State where he was diagnosed after he complained of weakness, bilateral leg swelling, and progressive reduction in urine output in April 2024.
To keep him alive, Shaibu undergoes weekly hemodialysis which costs N150,000 per session, excluding medications.
The hospital has confirmed that the kidney transplant will cost approximately N20,000,000, with an additional N1,500,000 for medications. While N2,195,640 has been donated so far, more is needed urgently.
