Eid-El-Kabir: Sokoto Gov To Pay Workers’ Salary Early

Governor of Sokoto State, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, has announced that the payment of June salary, for the state workers will begin on Monday, 10th of June 2024.

Gatekeepers News reports that the act is to ensure workers in the state have a fun-filled Eid-el-Kabir.

Recall that since his assumption in office, the governor has been paying the salary of the state workers between the 20th and 21st of every month.

The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Abubakar Bawa revealed the development through a statement released on Sunday.

According to the statement, the payment covers State civil servants, local governments, LGEA staff, and pensioners in the state.

Lastly, the Governor wished the entire Muslim Ummah a hitch-free Eid-el-Kabir.
