Senator representing Edo North, Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole mni, CON, has congratulated Muslim on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir.
Gatekeepers News reports that Oshiomhole in a statement he personally signed said the occasion is a time for reflection, prayer, and gratitude
The statement read, “Dear Muslim brothers and sisters, as we commemorate Eid el Kabir, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to you and your families.
“This auspicious occasion reminds us of the profound sacrifice and unwavering obedience of Prophet Ibrahim to Allah’s command.
“Eid el Kabir is a time for reflection, prayer, and gratitude. It is a time to remember the importance of obedience to the divine will, even in the face of great challenges.
“Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Isma’il is a testament to his faith and obedience to Allah, and it serves as a timeless example for all of us to follow.
“In this spirit, let us all strive to emulate Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion to Allah and his unwavering faith. Let us remember that obedience to God’s commandments is the cornerstone of our faith and the key to spiritual fulfillment.
“As we gather with our families and loved ones to celebrate Eid el Kabir, let us also remember those who are less fortunate and extend a helping hand to them.
