Other African cities with low costs of living include Blantyre, Malawi (221st globally), Tunis, Tunisia (210th globally), Lusaka, Zambia (213th globally), Gaborone, Botswana (215th globally), Windhoek, Namibia (218th globally), and Durban, South Africa (219th globally).
On the other end of the spectrum, Bangui, Central African Republic (14th globally), Djibouti (18th globally), and N’Djamena, Chad (21st globally), have the highest cost of living in Africa.
