Gunmen Kidnap Heavily Pregnant Woman

Some gunmen have kidnapped a pregnant woman known as Mrs Ogunbunmi in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.

Gatekeepers News reports that the victim who was due for delivery had left her home in Oke Lantoro for the general hospital in Ijaiye, Abeokuta, but was kidnapped along the way.

The pregnant woman’s husband, Ogunbunmi Lateef said that he received a WhatsApp message notifying him of his wife’s abduction.

The Ogun stated Police Spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident through a brief statement released on Thursday.

She said, “ One Ogunbunmi Lateef of Oke Lantoro reported that his pregnant wife due for delivery left home for State Hospital Ijaiye Abeokuta.”

“He received a WhatsApp message confirming the abduction of his wife by unknown armed men.”
