Makinde Announces Date For Olakunlehin’s Coronation As Olubadan

Seyi Makinde, Governor of Oyo State, Southwest Nigeria, has given his approval for the coronation and presentation of the staff of office to the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakunlehin.

Gatekeepers News reports that the ceremony is set to take place on Friday, July 12, 2024.

According to a statement released by the Commissioner for Information, Dotun Oyelade, the Government has remained committed to justice and fairness despite attempts to mislead the public through insinuations and mischievous innuendos.

Oyelade urged the people of Oyo State and Ibadan to be patient and trust in the administration’s ability to deliver on its promises, as it has consistently done over the past five years.

He encouraged them to look forward to the coronation ceremony, promising it would be a spectacular event.
