Afemai Coalition For Asue Ighodalo Visits Water Tanker Road Women
Afemai Coalition for Asue Ighodalo on Saturday took their campaign to the women around Water Tanker road in Auchi.

Gatekeepers News reports that this community has been severely affected by the recent heavy rainfall, with houses washed away, livelihoods lost, and properties worth hundreds of millions destroyed.

Despite their hardships, the community members came out to hear a message of hope— that a government led by Asue Ighodalo will bring relief and a permanent solution to them. They sang, danced, and listened attentively to the message.

Auchi popular singer, Olesese, added a special appeal to the engagement by serenading the women and assuring them all hope is not lost that Asue Ighodalo would bring relief to them when he becomes Governor of Edo State.

One elderly woman requested assistance to rent a new apartment, as her home was washed away, and she is currently squatting with another family.

The community appreciated the efforts of Asue Ighodalo. He first visited the area, followed by the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Godwin Omobayo after the heavy downpour, and then by the Secretary to the Government and Dr. Asue Ighodalo’s running mate, Barrister Osarodion Ogie.

Overall, the community valued the non-partisan visit that addressed their specific needs.
