BEDC Announces 2-Month Power Outage In Ondo And Ekiti

Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) has announced a planned power outage in Ondo and Ekiti states, lasting two months.

Gatekeepers News reports that the outage is necessary for critical maintenance work, according to a public notice.

The scheduled power interruption will begin on July 1, 2024, and end on August 31, 2024.

During this period, power supply will be interrupted daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, resulting in a nine-hour blackout.
