Charly Boy Applauds South-East Governors On Nnamdi Kanu’s Release Call

Maverick entertainer, Charles Oputa also known as Charly Boy, has applauded South-East Governors for clamouring for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB).

Gatekeepers News reports that Charly Boy through a post on his official X account said that the “injustice is becoming unbecoming.”

He posted, “I just thank God say south east governors don dey vibrate on top of Mazi Nnamdi Kalu matter.”

“Infact, belle sweet me, the injustice is becoming unbecoming. Thunder fire any “Sabo” for dis matter. AreaFada.”

Recall that Southeast governors had on Tuesday concluded plans to meet President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to discuss the need for Kanu to be released from detention.

Southeast Senators on Wednesday also urged the president to order Kanu’s release.

The fifteen senators who were led by former Abia State Deputy Governor, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe made the appeal during a closed-door meeting with Attorney General of Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi.

They noted that unless Kanu is released, the social and economic activities in South East region will not move forward.
