Former Liverpool FC midfielder, Thiago Alcantara has announced that he is retiring from professional football.
Gatekeepers News reports that Thiago made the announcement through a heartfelt post on social media.
The former Spaniard professional soccer player expressed gratitude and reflected on his career.
He posted, “I will always be willing to give back what I have been given, and I am grateful for the time I have enjoyed it.”
“Thank you, football. And to all who accompanied me and made me a better player and person along the way.”

Thiago Alcantara is the son of former football player, Mazinho.
