A 400-level student of the Department of Statistics, University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Owoyemi Qudus Adebayo has emerged as a Guinness World Records breaker.
Gatekeepers News reports that Qudus broke the record for the fastest time to complete five skin fade haircuts.
Qudus accomplished the record in 14 minutes, 56 seconds, and 83 milliseconds, surpassing the previous record of 18 minutes and 57 seconds.
The event which was attended by fellow well-wishing students was held at the school’s Student Union Building (SUB).
An email sent to the new record breaker on July 2, 2024, by GWR, stated that “ your application for fastest time to complete five skin fade haircuts has been successful and you are now a Guinness World Records Title Holder!”
“You are now eligible for one complimentary Guinness World Records certificate.”
The management of UNILORIN also acknowledged Qudus’ achievement in a bulletin released on Monday, July 8, 2024.
