Nollywood actress and producer, Yvonne Jegede has lost one of her children to cholera.
Gatekeepers News reports that the actress revealed the tragic incident through a post on her official Instagram account.
The actress said one of the three children she has been financially supporting on her own, Olamide has sadly passed away due to cholera.
She recounted meeting the deceased when he was in Primary 4, adding that he was expected to start JS3 after the summer break before his untimely death.
Yvonne added that the other two children, one of whom is Olamide’s sister, graduated from secondary school the previous day.
She further noted that despite not having all the wealth in the world, these moments make her life complete as she has since 2019, managed to provide for them with God’s help, even though she doesn’t always know how.
Yvonne said, “I’m heartbroken because I lost one of my children to cholera. Olamide and I met when he was in primary 4, and he was supposed to go to JSS3 after this summer break. The news broke my heart. I am also happy that 2 of my children graduated yesterday from secondary school, and one of them is Olamide’s sister. I don’t have all the money in the world, but this makes my world complete. Since 2019 till date, I don’t know how I do it, but my God provides enough to carry them through.”
