Osun State Government has ordered the closure of all schools in the state, against the nationwide protest coming up on August 1 that was declared by some unknown youths.
Gatekeepers News reports that this is in a bid to safeguard the lives and properties of the state residents during the nationwide protesy.
The order was issued by the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Education in the state, Mr. M.A.K Jimoh through a public service announcement information in Osogbo, on Monday evening.
He directed both private and public schools to proceed on the third term vacation From Wednesday 31st July, 2023.
The Permanent Secretary further urged parents and guardians to ensure the safety of their wards during the break.
