EKEDC Prepaid Platforms’ Service Restored

Service on Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) payment platforms has been restored.

Gatekeepers News reports that EKEDC customers were unable to recharge their prepaid meters on Wednesday due to an undisclosed technical issue.

The company, however, assured its customers that efforts were underway to resolve the issue as soon as possible and apologised for inconvenience caused.

EKEDC, in a message sent to its customers on Thursday, announced that service on its payment platforms has been restored.

The company apologised again for inconvenience and disruption the issue might have caused them and assured that it is working towards preventing such from happening in the future.

It said, “We are pleased to inform you that the service has now been fully restored. We deeply regret the prolonged service downtime that impacted your ability to recharge your prepaid meters.”

“We understand the significant inconvenience and disruption this caused your daily lives, and for that, we are truly sorry.”

“We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time. Rest assured, we are committed to doing everything in our power to prevent similar outages in the future.”

“We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide any necessary updates to ensure a stable service.”

“Once again, we apologise for the extended downtime and sincerely thank you for your continued understanding and trust.”
