Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) is currently facing a technical issue, leaving customers unable to recharge their prepaid meters.
Gatekeepers News reports that EKEDC, in a statement released on Wednesday, assured customers that efforts are underway to resolve the issue as soon as possible and apologised for the inconvenience caused.
No specific timeline has been provided for when the platform will be back online.
Customers are advised to check the EKEDC website or social media channels for updates on the status of the prepaid meter recharge system.
“We are currently experiencing service downtime on all our prepaid platforms, which has impacted your ability to recharge your prepaid meter,” EKEDC said.
“We sincerely apologise for this as we continue to work with our technical partners to get it resolved soonest. Please, bear with us.”
