Lagos police command has detained the executive director of ARM Pensions Managers Limited, accused of raping a female employee.
Gatekeepers News reports that Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos police spokesperson, confirmed the detention to TheCable on Thursday.
The female employee had reported the incident to ARM Pensions management, alleging that the executive director took her to a hotel after a team bonding event in Lagos, instead of dropping her off at her home as planned.
She claimed to have woken up to find her private parts sore and bruised, with no memory of the previous night’s events beyond the team bonding event.
ARM Pensions expressed deep disturbance over the allegations and placed the executive director on administrative leave, committing to full cooperation with the police investigation.
The accused is currently in police custody, with investigations ongoing.
