#EndBadGovernance: Kano Government Relaxes Curfew

Curfew in Kano state has been adjusted to restore normalcy in the state.

Gatekeepers News reports that the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Malam Baba Dantiye, announced this on Sunday in a broadcast in Kano.

He revealed that the curfew will take place from 8 am to 2 pm, adding that it was adjusted to restore normalcy in the state.

Recall that the state government earlier imposed a 24-hour curfew across the state for safety during the ongoing nationwide protest.

According to Dantiye; Governor Abba Yusuf expressed condolences to families of those who lost loved ones and property during the protest that turned violent.

The Governor urged state residents to return to their various homes by 2 pm, assuring them that the curfew would be reviewed when security situation improves.

He also urged them to continue to pray for peace, progress, and political stability in the state and nation as a whole.

Dantiye noted that the curfew relaxation is a step towards restoring normalcy, adding that the state government will continue to monitor the situation and ensure safety.
