Mills Maintenance Officer – Mechanical
Job Specifications:
- Full Time
- Required Qualifications: BA/BSC/HND
- Location: Lagos | Nigeria.
Job Description:
To lead end to end implementation of planned maintenance, preventive maintenance and remedial & repair works within maintenance department to ensure reliability and availability of all milling machines.
THEJOB
- Monitor the progress of all types of routine, breakdown and planned maintenance activities of all Mechanical equipment, components and installations.
- Provide prompt response to breakdowns and resolve the issues as quickly as possible.
- Update all records of maintenance activities for analysis and future reference.
- Recommend new installations or modifications to improve plant control performance, replacement of defective, obsolete Mechanical equipment systems and subsystems.
- Ensure RCA is carried out on breakdowns exceeding the set threshold and drive closing of developed actions from conducted RCA as well as document RCA records.
- Promote and enforce maintenance safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of employees.
- Track resource utilization and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Requirements:
THEPERSON MUST
- Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to read and interpret services design.
- Problem solving ability, developing creative, innovative and practical technical solutions.
- Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Specifically Excel) and Data Analysis.
QUALIFICATION
- B.Sc./HND in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of milling technology will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
- 3 years cognate experience.
