Tinubu To Embark On 3-Day Official Visit To Equatorial Guinea

President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja for Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on Wednesday for a three-day official visit.

Gatekeepers News reports that the trip, According to Ajuri Ngelale, special adviser to the president on media and publicity, is at the invitation of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

Upon arrival, Tinubu will meet with Mbasogo at the presidential villa to discuss key agreements, particularly in the areas of oil and gas, as well as security. The visit aims to strengthen relations between the two nations.

“The President will be accompanied on the trip by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other members of his cabinet who will be involved in the signing of agreements and review of opportunities to improve bilateral relations,” the statement reads.
