Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Eket office has sealed four filling stations and two gas stations for non-renewal of licenses and poor housekeeping in Akwa Ibom.
Gatekeepers News reports that Coordinator of the Authority, Mr Ikechukwu Eseka disclosed this to newsmen during a routine surveillance of petrol stations in Uyo, the state capital on Friday.
He said, “Some of the filling stations are sealed for non-renewal of licenses and poor housekeeping in the state.”
The Coordinator noted that the filling stations were sealed in Uyo.
He warned marketers against under-dispensing, hoarding, or diverting petroleum products.
Eseka further noted that the Authority is also carrying surveillance for housekeeping to ensure that facilities are up to standard in the state.
