Nollywood actor and comedian, Chinedu Ikedieze popularly known as Aki has warned the public against fraudsters impersonating him to defraud people.
Gatekeepers News reports that the actor issued the warning through a recent Instagram post.
Ikedieze posted a screenshot of a conversation between an impostor and a victim.
The impostor had demanded N200,000 from the victim while posing as Ikedieze, claiming they could not make transfers themselves.
The 46-year-old actor further urged the public to understand new tactics employed by impostors.
He wrote, “Pls guys, everyone should be careful. These scammers are on rampage. They’ve devised another level of OBT. They now use pix of public figures as their DP and start calling or texting people within your circle.”
