Jennifer Lopez has filed for divorce from Ben Affleck after two years of marriage.
Gatekeepers News reports that the couple, known as “Bennifer,” tied the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022. According to TMZ, Lopez filed the divorce petition in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday, listing the separation date as April 26, 2024, and waiving spousal support.
Lopez and Affleck’s relationship has been a long and winding one, with the pair first dating in 2002 and getting engaged later that year.
They postponed their wedding in 2003 and eventually split in 2004. However, they rekindled their romance in 2021 and announced their engagement in April 2022.
This marks Lopez’s fourth divorce, having previously been married to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, and Marc Anthony. Affleck was previously married to Jennifer Garner, with whom he has three children.
