Nollywood actress, director, and filmmaker, Funke Akindele has exposed a scammer using her name and picture to defraud people on WhatsApp.
Gatekeepers News reports that Funke revealed that the scammer named Prosper Paul has been asking for money and promising to repay it the next day under her identity.
She posted screenshots of the scammer’s messages on her official X account and Instagram story,
The actress cursed the scam and urged her fans to be vigilant and not fall into his trap.
She captioned the post: “Pls beware!!! This is not from me!! Prosper!!! E no go prosper for you o!!! Ole!!!”
