Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf on Wednesday directed Accountant-General of the state to close all Ministry, Department, and Agency accounts with immediate effect.
Gatekeepers News reports that Govenor Yusuf gave the directive at an ongoing meeting with Chairman of Kano State Internal Revenue Service and heads of MDAs at Government House.
The Governor noted that the development is necessary to ensure that all government revenue is properly accounted for and utilised for the state development.
