Yoruba Nollywood actor, Yusuf Olorungbede is dead.
Gatekeepers News reports that before this, the actor had been ill for some time and was placed on life support.
A few days ago, actress Foluke Daramola took to social media to call on Nigerians to rally around and offer financial support due to the actor’s failing health.
The exact nature of his illness was however not been disclosed.
Many of the deceased’s colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry have confirmed the tragic incident.
Daramola wrote on her verified Instagram page, “We lost Yusuf Olorungbede… We submit to God’s Will. Thank You Everyone!”
Actor Oladimeji Peter also paid tribute to the deceased on Facebook, sharing memories of the late actor’s generosity and kindness.
He revealed that Olorungbede had been a mentor to him and recounted how the late actor was the first to invite him to a movie set, cover his expenses, and ensure his comfort without any stress.
