NLC President – Ajaero Returns To Labour House

President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero has left Intelligence Response Team (IRT) headquarters in Abuja.

Gatekeepers News reports that Ajaero arrived at 10:17 AM and left at 11:15 AM after providing his statement.

The president didn’t address the media when departing IRT headquarters but noted that he would speak to journalists at NLC headquarters later.

Recall that police invited Ajaero on Monday 19 August, for questioning over allegations of criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, subversion, and cybercrime levied against him.

He was asked to report at IRT complex, old Abattoir by Guzape Junction, Abuja at 10 am on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

Ajaero through his lawyer, however, declined the police’s request for interrogation on Tuesday 20 August, and instead scheduled an alternative date for Wednesday, August 29.

The questioning was later postponed to today due to the President’s unavailability yesterday.
