First runner-up of Big Brother Naija (BBN) season 1 in 2006, Francisca Owumi is dead.
Gatekeepers News reports that the deceased’s family announced her demise through a post on her official Instagram account.
Her family wrote, “A daughter and sister. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”
According to reports, Francisca died at the age of forty (40) after a brief illness on Thursday, 29 August 2024.
She was known for her energetic dance moves and charming personality during the inaugural of the reality show.
Some other notable contestants in the house were Katung Aduwak, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Gideon Okeke, and the late Joseph Ada.
Francisca explored the music industry with the release of two singles, “Gbadun You” and “Diva”, under her record label, ‘Cisca Entertainment’ created in 2012.
She was also a writer for Revista, an international magazine based in Ghana.
