Kaduna state chapter of Labour Party (LP) has rejected the emergence of Senator Nenai Usman, a former Minister of Finance as the party’s National Caretaker chairman.
Gatekeepers News reports that the state chapter voiced its disagreement with the nomination through a statement released by its chairman Kaduna State LP chairman, Auwal Tafoki.
Recall that the National Caretaker Committee was inaugurated at a stakeholders meeting convened by Abia State Governor, Alex Otti at Umuahia Abia state some days ago.
Tafoki described the emergence of Usman, an indigene of the state as illegal and unconstitutional.
He said the appointment of the former Finance Minister to lead the 29-member national caretaker committee of the party lacks legitimacy and is a waste of time and resources.
