Atiku Abubakar, former vice president and 2023 PDP presidential candidate, has arrived in Benin City, Edo state, for the party’s final rally in support of its governorship candidate, Asue Ighodalo.
Gatekeepers News reports that the rally is ahead of the gubernatorial poll scheduled to be held on September 21.
Atiku was accompanied by Siminialayi Fubara, Governor of Rivers state.
Upon their arrival, the group was received by Obaseki, Edo state Governor.
