A break-out group within People’s Democratic Party (PDP) during 2023 presidential election, known as G5 Governors met on Friday.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Governors refused to support the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar last year.
The Governors believed the presidency and the party’s ticket should be rotated to the southern region of the country.
The politicians met at the residence of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) minister, Nyesom Wike in Abuja.
The politicians are holding a meeting on political crisis in the party.
