Embattled American rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been placed on suicide watch at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in New York as a preventative measure.
Gatekeepers News reports that the 54-year-old, who was arrested on Monday, is currently facing federal s3x trafficking and racketeering charges.
Despite his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, stating that Diddy is not at all suicidal and is in good health, the directive for suicide watch was characterised by MDC officials as a routine measure for new, high-profile inmates.
The duration of Diddy’s stay under suicide watch has not been disclosed.
