Jimmy Carter Marks 100th Birthday
Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States, has reached a remarkable milestone, celebrating his 100th birthday.

Gatekeepers News reports that this achievement is even more impressive considering he began hospice care at his home in Plains, Georgia, over 19 months ago.

Despite no longer appearing in public regularly, he spent his special day with around 20 members of his extended family at the home he built with his late wife, Rosalynn, in the 1960s.

President Joe Biden honored Carter with a heartfelt video message, describing him as a “beloved friend” and “one of the most influential statesmen” in US history.

Biden praised Carter’s “hopeful vision of our country, commitment to a better world, and unwavering belief in the power of human goodness”.

Carter’s legacy extends beyond his presidency, which included notable achievements like the 1978 Camp David Accords and establishing diplomatic relations with China. He has also worked as a global mediator, rights activist, and elder statesman, founding the respected Carter Center in 1982.

Locals in Plains, Georgia, are thrilled to see their hometown hero reach this milestone. Jill Stuckey, superintendent of the National Park Service’s

Jimmy Carter historical site, said, “We are thrilled that the president from this little town is going to be the only president to ever live to be 100 years old”.

Despite his advanced age, Carter remains keenly interested in politics and is even planning to vote in the November election for Kamala Harris by mail-in ballot. His commitment to his values and community has earned him admiration across the aisle.
