Lagos State Government has announced a night traffic diversion at Ojuelegba flyover bridge by fire station for installation of a truck barrier.
Gatekeepers News reports that Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi announced this through a statement released on Thursday in Lagos State.
Osiyemi noted that the diversion would be between 10 pm on Saturday and 5 am on Sunday.
He said, “Motorists are advised to use the diversion route below during the night time installation of the barriers.
“Motorists from Eko Bridge, Costain and Iponri inbound Ojuelegba are advised to use the service lane from National Stadium gate to link Barracks to access their desired destinations.”
The commissioner urged motorists to be patient as the brief closure of the bridge was planned for night time as part of traffic management strategy to avert further accidents and loss of lives.
