Nigerian comedian, Aderombi Adedayo Martin popularly known as Dee One has criticised the self-acclaimed activist Martins Vincent Otse aka VeryDarkMan for accepting N100 million from the Marvin Records founder, Donjazzy.
Gatekeepers News reports that VDM took to social media on Wednesday to announce the public that Don Jazztvdonated N100 million to his newly launched non-governmental organization (NGO).
However reacting to the announcement on his Instagram page on Thursday, Dee-One called out VeryDarkMan for “perceived hypocrisy”.
He said VeryDarkMan recently criticised celebrities, Don Jazzy inclusive for donating to Bobrisky after her prison release, but he is receiving donations now
Dee One questioned the activist’s integrity, highlighting his sudden change in stance.
He said, “I am disappointed in Don Jazzy, don collect money from Don Jazzy. So that means Don Jazzy is a good person. He does not look at whether the receiver is an evil person or not.”
“This is because when Don Jazzy gave Bobrisky money and she put it online, VeryDarkMan came outside to say he was disappointed that Don Jazzy supported Bobrisky.”
“Don Jazzy is also a very petty person. He did not say anything at the time, and in his mind, he probably thought it was poverty speaking. When VeryDarkMan needed money for his NGO, he now gave him N100 million.”
“VeryDarkMan had to announce it himself. This is a very good lesson to everyone including me that it is not a must to talk about everything. Because that same money that was given to Bobrisky that you said was bad, now it has been given to you, it is good. You do not have to talk about everything.”
