Social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan has regained his freedom after meeting his bail condition.
Gatekeepers News reports that Nigeria Police Force (NPF) arraigned the activist earlier on Friday, for alleged impersonation after he honoured its invitation.
VDM in a video circulated on social media, wore the police force uniform with the rank meant for a chief superintendent of police (CSP).
Referring to himself as CSP of online division, Nigeria’s number one online police; VeryDarkMan corrected the notion of people calling him an activist and expressed his commitment to fighting against injustice in the country.
The court granted VeryDarkMan bail in the sum of N2 million with two sureties, each required to post an equivalent amount.
It also ordered the fitness expert to deposit his international passports and any other means of identification.
