Fire broke out at the Eco Fitness Hub in Gwarinpa, Abuja, in the early hours of Wednesday.
Gatekeepers News reports that there were no casualties according to eyewitnesses.
“We’ve called the federal fire service for like an hour now. They’ve not been here. We are still waiting for them. The fire is spreading to the next building,” said a man who uses the gym.
At the time of writing this report, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Fire service personnel arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames and manage the situation.
