Niger Announces Minna Chief Imam’s Death

Chief Imam of Minna, Niger state capital, Sheikh Isah Fari is dead.

Gatekeepers News reports that ninety-three (93) year-old imam died at IBB specialist hospital, Minna, on Saturday night.

Niger State Governor, Mohammed Bago announced his demise through a statement released by his spokesman, Balogi Ibrahim.

The Governor expressed grief over the loss, describing the Imam’s death as a huge loss to the entire Muslim community.

Bago said the late Imam was a humble gentleman and peace ambassador who always preached love.

He said, “The death of Sheikh Fari is a sad loss to the State and the entire Muslim community.”

“The late Chief Imam was a humble and peace ambassador who always preached love and togetherness to people. He lived a selfless and fulfilled life where he gave his all for the propagation of Islam. His usual pieces of advice and wise counsel will be greatly missed.”

The Governor further commiserated with Minna Emirate, family members, and Muslim Ummah.

He prayed for Allah to grant the deceased entry into Aljannat Firdausi.
