Senate has approved a $2.2 billion loan request by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Gatekeepers News reports that upper legislative chamber approved the loan request after reviewing a report presented by Aliyu Wamakko, chairman of Committee on Local and Foreign Debt.
Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau who presided over the session praised the committee for its prompt action and comprehensive review of the loan request.
