Olalekan Bakare-Oki, the General Manager of LASTMA, emphasised the vital importance of securing containers properly by truck drivers and owners. He warned that negligence in securing loads poses significant risks to both lives and property and urged all stakeholders to adhere strictly to road safety protocols to prevent such dangerous incidents in the future.
“LASTMA remains unwavering in its commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of Lagos roadways and continues to work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to uphold traffic laws and enhance public safety.”
