Stage collapsed on Sunday, during the Nigerian rapper, Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck’s performance at Native Land Festival.
Gatekeepers News reports that the accident occurred at Sol Beach in Elegusi, Lagos where the festival was held.
In a video circulating online, stage equipment could be seen crashing as concertgoers panickly flee for safety. It is however unknown if any of the attendees sustained injury from the accident.
The concert featured performances by artistes like Bloody Civilian, DJ Tunez, Qing Madi, Ayanfe, and so on.
Odumodublvck is known for his unique stage performance and genre mixes.
Odumodublvck signed a deal with NATIVE Records in partnership with Def Jam Recordings in 2022.
The rapper also put out his first single titled ‘Picanto’ featuring ECko Miles and Zlatan Ibile in the same year.
The rapper released ‘Declan Rice’, a chart-topping single named after the English footballer on March 24, 2023.
