Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo has approved the reconstitution of the Governing Council of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
Gatekeepers News reports that this was announced in a statement released by Secretary to the state government, Umar Musa Ikhilor on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
The Governor appointed Chief Daniel Sikheme Orbih, an ally of Nyesom Wike, Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as chairman of the governing council.
Other members are Martins Osakwe, Prof. Steve Amiemenkharu lyayi, Hon. Lukman Muhammad, Prof. Idialu Jeremiah Uwaifo, Prof. Eric Kelly Inanemo Omogbai, and Prof. Omoruyi Ikponmwonse Osahon.
The statement added, “The appointment of the aforementioned names to constitute the membership of the Governing Council, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma is with effect from December 31, 2024.”
