JUST IN: CBN Fines 9 Banks N1.3bn Over ATM Cash Shortages

Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has sanctioned nine deposit money banks (DMB) for failing to ensure cash availability via automated teller machines (ATM) during the festive season.

Gatekeepers News reports that the apex bank imposed fines totaling N1.35 billion on the nine banks which include Fidelity Bank, First Bank, Keystone Bank, Union Bank, Globus Bank, Providus Bank, Zenith Bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA), and Sterling Bank.
