Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar has condoled with Tunji Disu, Commissioner of police in Federal Capital Territory (FCT) over the death of Adam, his adopted son.
Gatekeepers News reports that Adam died in a ghastly auto crash on January 20 in Abuja. The car caught fire immediately after the crash.
According to reports; the 33-year-old boy was adopted by the CP at the age of two.
He graduated from the Department of Philosophy at Lagos State University (LASU) in 2023 and completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2024.
Atiku in a post on X, expressed his sympathy to the CP, describing the death as heartbreaking.
He wrote, “The news about the tragic loss of the son of the commissioner of police in FCT in a ghastly auto crash is heartbreaking.”
“It is the prayer and expectation of every parent that their children should succeed them.”
“But when nature decides the matter in reverse order, the pain is difficult to bear.”
“My thoughts and prayers are with the family of police commissioner Olatunji Disu. May God grant them the comfort to bear this agonising loss.”
