Nengi Hampson, a former housemate on the reality show Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), has confirmed that she is Pregnant and refuted rumours claiming that it belongs to a Nigerian governor.
Gatekeepers News reports that in a post on X, Nengi voiced her frustration regarding the circulating rumours, indicating that she initially considered ignoring them. However, she felt it was necessary to address the situation due to the involvement of individuals she respects greatly.
Nengi underscored her commitment to protecting her personal life and the reputations of those close to her from the impact of these unfounded claims.
“As much as I believe social media lies aren’t worth my time, I’ve come to accept that we live in a world where people are quick to spread lies without limits so let me be clear, I’m not pregnant for any Governor,” she wrote.
“I’ve chosen to speak coz this isn’t just an attack on me, it involves people I hold in the highest regard, and I won’t allow a beautiful, personal part of my life to be turned into something ugly.
“While I continue to mind my own business and enjoy my pregnancy in PEACE, I wish y’all Love and a happy Valentine’s weekend.”
