Kamar Yusuf Denies Involvement In Selection Of Baales In Various Chiefdoms In Ado-Odo

Personal Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Special Duties, Kamorudeen Olawale Yusuf has denied involvement in the selection of Baales set to be installed in various chiefdoms and villages under Ado-Odo in Ogun State.

Gatekeepers News reports that Yusuf in a statement he personally signed said the claim is not only misleading but entirely false.

He added that it’s the handiwork of some unscrupulous individuals.

The statement read, “My attention has been drawn to a trending rumor regarding chieftaincy titles and the selection of Baales set to be installed in various chiefdoms and villages under Ado-Odo in Ogun State.

“Some unscrupulous individuals have falsely linked my name to the selection of a Baale in Idi-Ota, a community in Ado-Odo. This claim is not only misleading but entirely false. I have never interfered in, nor encouraged, any act that would undermine our traditional institutions through imposition. As a proud son of the soil, I deeply respect and uphold the sanctity of our heritage.

“The governance of our town rests solely in the hands of our revered King, Oba Olusola Idris Osolo Otenibotemole II whom I trust to uphold the integrity of the institution. I remain a dedicated son of Ado and a firm believer in the significance of traditional institutions in fostering peace and stability.

“While these rumors remain mere speculation at best, I urge all well-meaning members of the community to direct their concerns to the appropriate authorities rather than engaging in side talks and baseless accusations.

“Responsible members of a community will avoid cases in court or situations that can lead to unrest—I hold this view firmly and will continue to stand by it.”
