Pope’s Condition No Longer Critical—Vatican

Vatican has disclosed that Pope Francis’ condition is no longer critical.

Gatekeepers News reports that this improvement follows a series of clinical improvements by the pope.

Recall that Vatican has been reporting gradual improvements in health of the 88-year-old Pope who has spent the past two weeks at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital.

A Vatican source on Friday noted that Francis’ critical phase has passed for the moment, adding that his overall condition remains complex and his prognosis is still reserved.

Earlier on Friday, Vatican reported that the pope had spent another peaceful night in hospital.

According to Medical experts; a full recovery could take time due to Francis’s age and his chronic respiratory condition.

Vatican said on Tuesday, “Given the complexity of the clinical picture, further days of clinical stability are necessary before the prognosis can be resolved.”

Francis has continued to work from the hospital, where he is staying in a special papal suite on the 10th floor.

Vatican noted that he has been doing breathing exercises between periods of rest and prayer.
