The speaker of the Lagos state house of assembly, Southwest Nigeria, Mojisola Meranda has resigned her position.
Gatekeepers News reports that Meranda resigned after a meeting with Mudashiru Obasa, the embattled former speaker, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the attorney-general of Lagos, Lawal Pedro.
