Dara, the estranged wife of popular skit maker Kehinde Ganiyu popularly known as Ijoba Lande has refuted his claims that she had affairs with 21 men in the entertainment industry.
Gatekeepers News reports that during an interview with actress Biola Adebayo on Friday, Dara addressed Lande’s accusations made in a recent viral interview.
The actress swore that she was never unfaithful and dared him to release any evidence he claimed to have.
She said. “Saying that I slept with 21 men, he (Ijoba Lande) cannot point out to one man that I have done that with. Let him prove it. He should name them and release the video he claims to have.”
The actress said the allegations were a deliberate attempt to mislead the public, adding that Lande was trying to shift attention away from his problems.
Dara alleged that Lande is a chronic gambler and physically abusive, adding that he spent millions on online betting while neglecting his responsibilities.
She said, “He plays Aviator (online betting) a lot, and that thing has ripped him of millions. He even sold his car and used the money to bet. He was always on his phone and had no attention for me.”
“I borrowed him my contribution money (ajo) to shoot skit and he used it to play betting. He can use two million naira to bet in a month.”
“I even had to collect food on credit while living with him because he didn’t take care of me. On top of that, he would beat me whenever he got angry,” she alleged.
She further revealed that Marygold, her friend, played a major role in their separation.”
“Our problem started when Marygold failed to pay back N1 million from our contribution group (ajo). I challenged her to return the money, but Lande kept defending her, saying I should leave her alone. Meanwhile, when it was her turn, she collected her money without delay.”
Speaking on the Truth or Dare controversy involving her and Yoruba actor Babatunde Tayo, also known as Baba Tee, Dara explained that the game was introduced by Marygold and that she was intoxicated at the time, making her unaware of what happened.
She said, “I regret playing that game. I remember sitting on Baba Tee’s legs, but I don’t know what else happened because I was drunk.”
